Left over bread can be used as a snack by shredding it and then storing this in a large bowl. Leave the bowl uncovered in the refrigerator till the shredded pieces become hard and crispy.

Leftover buns make good bread sticks or croutons. Simply butter them, season them with a little garlic powder and Parmesan cheese, and toast them in the oven.
